Born, raised, and educated in Missouri, Kestrel first discovered costuming when working on a homeschool play at age 5.

Kestrel received a BFA in Theatre and Dance: Design, Technology, and Stage Management with an emphasis in Costume Design from Missouri State University in December 2020.

Kestrel currently serves as the full time draper and a costume designer for Charleston Stage in Charleston, South Carolina..
